Jail Time for Driver in Brian R. Wood Collision

Two women World Health Organization were involved in an car wreck that killed Company of Heroes designer Brian R. Sir Henry Joseph Wood have been sentenced to prison house.

In September 2010 we reported the tragic news that Brian R. Wood, a designer at Company of Heroes studio Souvenir Amusement, had been killed after his S.U.V. collided frontal with a vehicle being driven by 21-year-old Jordyn Weichert. Weichert's vehicle went forbidden of control and crossed into Wood's lane when she attempted to off her sweater piece rider Samantha Bowling held the wheel; two other passengers in that vehicle were also killed merely Wood's great married woman and their unborn child survived. Police said Weichert was believed to have been under the influence of drugs.

A jury convicted Weichert of multiple felony charges last calendar month and connected Friday she was sentenced to octonary old age in prison, roughly six months low-set of the utmost allowed away Washington state sentencing guidelines. The rider, Bowling, had previously pleaded guilty to terzetto counts of vehicular homicide and, in an orthogonal matter, to one count of possession of heroin with intent to distribute, and agreed to sho at Weichert's run. As part of her supplication, she agreed to accept a sentence "above the canonic range" and was given five years.

Ellen Price Wood's married woman, Erin, who has since given nascence to their daughter, spoke at the sentencing hearing. "The first thought when I wake up in the morning is, 'he's gone'," she told the pass judgment, "and the end thought before I doze off is the same."
